JOINING THE GROUP: This group is made for feedback exchange and only feedback exchange as it primary function. Meaning: You cannot submit here or get comments without feedback-ing other members from the group also. To be accepted into the group, you must answer positively to a note sent from an admin, asking you: >Did you read the Rules and Are you joining the group with the intention to participate in Reading lists?< You will also be asked to comment a deviation that is already in the group and feedback-ing this deviation is a must to enter the group. This way I know you are here for feedback exchange and not spamming the group with your deviations. As a retribution you will get a feedbacking-comment on a deviation of your choice from the same deviant you feedback-ed upon entering the group. RULES: 1.) Reading lists will be done once in two weeks. All participants will get a piece to comment and own piece will be given to comment to another member of the group with random choosing principle of random.org. Commenting deadline is one month. Every month each member of group can apply to participate in the next Reading list by submitting a piece into >Submissions for Reading list-Month< folder. Members who don't/can't post a comment for RL within two weeks/deadline need to send a NOTE to the group with their reasons/excuse why and then will be put on a Delay list and can't participate in next Reading lists or submitting until he/she fulfills her last commenting. Also members who don't participate in RLs for two months or are on a Delay list more than two months will be kicked from the group. Once you solve your Delay you can apply to enter the group again. Pieces that have participated in the RLs will be put in appropriate folders after a RL's time has passed. 2.) Accepting all written works in ENGLISH language. Mature content has to have a mature content filter. You are allowed to post mature-works but you can get a comment on them only if the person who is supposed to read them agrees. Meaning I will be gathering data about mature-willingness-reading. 3.) 6000 words max limit count as one deviation for prose (this is around 10 pages 12 font on A4 towards my word version), 20 pages for comics. Link the comic-pages through description as well as your chapters (novels). For every piece link to the first chapter and next chapter/ page in its description. You are allowed to submit a piece longer than 6000 words so long it is edited in a way that makes it clear where the end of 6000 words is (title part two, sign combined with blank rows, page number noted in description) and if you submit such a piece it counts as two deviations (or more depending on word number) and will be treated as such by other rules. 4). Feedback (COMMENTS) must show that you really read another work meaning >Great work< and similar feedback won't be accepted, you need to comment characters or events that happened in the story. Feedback can be criticizing but not insulting, if you don't like something give suggestions to the fellow writer how to improve. A comment needs to cover: A.) Your first impression and feelings of artwork: -What did the piece make you think? B.) Well-done points (what did you like, why did you like): -What points of the piece did you like? -Why did you like those points? C). Points needed to improve in your opinion (give suggestions how)/ encouragement for future -What points of the piece you didn't like? -Why didn't you like them? -As a writer, what would you do to make that piece better? -Write examples of how you would improve the parts you think need to be improved. D.) Build in your opinion about a character or event from a piece: Examples: -Which character did you like most, why? -The event surprised me I didn't expect him and her to act like that because... - For poems: this stanza made me think of... - if you notice a grammar mistake, post correction and page number of mistake -no rude, offensive or insulting comments Acceptable comment examples : selina99999.deviantart.com/art… selina99999.deviantart.com/art… selina99999.deviantart.com/art… Your feedback doesn't need to be long, but it has to cover given questions.
